Green? 2018
The combination of blue and yellow glass creates the illusion of green, and the illusion continues with the shifting perspectives created by the lenses and lamination. What does it mean to be green? Is a bubble still a bubble if it’s trapped in glass?
This piece was created by fusing glass, cutting it, rearranging the sections, and laminating them back together. Then the glass was cut, lenses were carved, and the glass was brought to a high polish.
